Armed Security Officer : Supervisor job at Cambridge Security Services Boca Raton, FL, US

Job Description

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.50 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, professional Armed Security Officer to lead our security team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate is experienced, disciplined, and has proven supervisory skills in the security field.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Supervise and oversee all on-site security personnel
Ensure team adherence to post orders, procedures, and company policies
Conduct inspections and provide guidance and training to officers
Handle incident reports and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain communication with management and clients
Monitor and enforce safety procedures and emergency response protocols
Control access and egress
Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol
Ensure proper documentation and shift reporting

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Possess a valid Florida Class D and G license
Valid Florida Driver License
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Pass a mental health assessment
Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory/security leadership experience
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Strong communication and leadership skills
