Their teams often collaborate with general contractors, engineering firms, and property owners on both new construction and challenging remediation projects.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop competitive project bids.
• Independently perform detailed quantity take-offs to support estimating and bid preparation.
• Review and analyze construction drawings, architectural renderings, and specifications to gather all necessary bid information.
• Compute material quantities—including square footage and linear footage—based on project documents.
• Conduct site visits to collect data needed for estimating renovations, repairs, and building modifications.
• Develop customized design recommendations and project solutions based on client needs.
• Prepare professional quotation proposals, including product details, scope descriptions, general conditions, and supporting documentation.
• Use company estimating software to produce precise, timely, and well-structured bids.
• Perform estimating for commercial waterproofing scopes, with familiarity in related products and services.

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and core construction disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• 2–5 years of construction industry experience, ideally including work on multi-story structures.
• Understanding of waterproofing systems, materials, and application methods.
• A positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges.
