Max Motors Dealerships is currently seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person to join our dynamic team at our various dealership locations. We are a renowned automotive dealership group with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service, high-quality vehicles, and an enjoyable working environment for our employees. As the Experienced Parts Counter Person, you will play a crucial role in the success of our dealerships by assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with customers to assist them in finding and purchasing the right parts for their vehicles.
• Search catalogs and computer databases for parts availability and pricing.
• Read and interpret vehicle schematics and part diagrams to assist in identifying and locating the right part.
• Keep track of inventory levels and order parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area.
• Assist in stocking shelves and receiving shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs.
• Continually update knowledge of new and existing products, inventory, and pricing.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a Parts Counter or automotive-related role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
