**Job Position: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate** **_(For quicker response, email resume directly to: JBurchett@aerotek.com)_** **Location:** Sarasota, FL **Job Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of parts and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments of parts and equipment. + Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery or customer pickup. + Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation. + Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. + Assist with loading and unloading trucks. + Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. + Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. + Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Dependable, punctual, and a team player. **Work Environment:** + Indoor warehouse setting with occasional outdoor work. + May involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. **Shift/Schedule:** 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) with occasional overtime on weekend shifts as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
