Compensation Range: $90,000 – $110,000/year

Job Description:
Join a fast-paced dev team supporting interactive, highly visible museum installations across the globe by building engaging front-end experiences in Svelte or React.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end applications using Svelte or React
• Transform design tickets into clean, efficient code
• Build interactive HTML-based kiosks and UI features
• Participate in Agile standups and Kanban process
• Attend weekly client meetings
• Conduct front-end testing (Cypress, unit, and automated tests)
• Collaborate on Git workflows and contribute to clean, scalable codebases

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 4 years of React experience OR significant Svelte project experience 
  • Samples of work: Portfolio, GitHub, etc. 
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript expertise
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with web animation frameworks (Motion, Anime.js, or CSS transitions)
  • Strong Git collaboration skills
  • Experience with front-end testing (Cypress preferred)
  • Strong understanding of complex UI/UX beyond typical corporate websites
  • Self-starter with a passion for code quality and strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable being reviewed by peers, clients, and leadership

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Figma
  • Creative coding in museum/trade show or agency settings
  • Docker familiarity
  • Svelte expertise
  • DMV area local
  • Experience participating in or conducting code reviews
