Hiring Material / Receiving Technician in Indianapolis, IN- Onsite

Title: Material / Receiving Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN- Onsite

Type: W2 Contract

Pay: $21–$24/hr.

We’re seeking Material/Receiving Technicians to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material distribution activities. In this role, you’ll receive and store materials, pick/pack/ship orders to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material supply tasks
• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments with high attention to detail
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials (including temperature-controlled items)
• Deliver materials within 24 hours of receipt
• Use ERP and tracking software to maintain accurate records
• Operate material-handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet movers, etc.)
• Schedule carriers, track shipments, and communicate updates to internal teams
• Assist with cycle counting, physical inventories, and maintain warehouse organization
• Support overtime needs during peak periods
• 2 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with ERP systems a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in refrigerated/freezer environments briefly
