The Operations Supervisor – Materials is responsible for overseeing the efficient flow, handling, and management of materials throughout the production and supply chain process. This role ensures that inventory levels are optimized, materials are delivered on time, and operational standards are met to support manufacturing and distribution goals. By coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, the supervisor plays a critical role in driving productivity, minimizing waste, and supporting overall business performance
Compensation & Benefits
Supervise daily operations of material handling, receiving, storage, and distribution.
Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment of materials.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
Monitor and enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards in all material-related activities.
Lead and develop a team of material handlers, warehouse staff, or logistics personnel.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize material flow and reduce waste.
Maintain documentation and reporting for inventory levels, material movements, and operational KPIs.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Operate and oversee use of ERP systems and warehouse management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in materials management, logistics, or manufacturing operations
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems.
Forklift certification or knowledge of material handling equipment (if applicable).
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
