The Engineer II -Optics is a key contributor to the Optics product creation team and will be tasked with leading finished good engineering for various product classes, including but not limited to connected cameras, binoculars, rifle scopes, & laser range finders. The person who fills this role would drive whole product engineering from ideation through initial production, working collaboratively with colleagues across the R&D organization along with key stakeholders in Business Unit Leadership, Sourcing, Marketing, Digital Studio, and Sales. The Engineer II - Optics is responsible for leading the technical design, engineering, development & testing of assigned products, with a key emphasis on outdoor connected device cameras with various end use applications – game & predator monitoring, birding, farm, & property security).
This position reports to the Director of Engineering - Optics and is based out of our Bozeman, MT office.

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
