Key Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students with diverse physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals.
• Implement therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor skills, self-regulation, attention, and daily functional performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment.
• Adapt materials and environments to support sensory regulation and access to learning.
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois OT license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sensory integration, behavior support strategies, and communication collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
