Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism + Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information + Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points + Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel + Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms + Act as a first responder in emergency situations **QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):** + Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience + Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment) + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment + Must possess one or more of the following: + Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site + Prior military experience + Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills + Exceptional customer service skills + Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):** + Prior law enforcement or armed security experience + Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field **BENEFITS:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...
