Cybersecurity Researcher – AI-Driven Enterprise Security

Our client, an innovative enterprise cybersecurity startup backed by $25M in seed funding, is seeking a Cybersecurity Researcher to join their founding research team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-powered threat detection and automated defense systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work at the cutting edge of cybersecurity, investigating vulnerabilities, developing advanced detection methods, and helping build AI models that enable defenses to operate at machine speed. Your research will directly influence tools that protect enterprise clients in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security research, identifying vulnerabilities and attack patterns.
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to integrate research into agent-based models and security products.
• Produce actionable outputs including proof-of-concepts, technical reports, and insights that guide product development.

Experience Required

• 5+ years in security research, red teaming, detection engineering, or threat intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with TVM, XDR, SIEM, or rule-based detection pipelines (Sigma, YARA, or equivalent).
• Bonus: experience building scalable research systems or working alongside AI teams.
