Skilled Carpenter (Year-Round Construction Work)

Starting Pay: $32.00/hour and up, based on experience

What We Build We specialize in post-frame and steel-frame buildings, including:

-Storage buildings -Livestock facilities -Warehouses -Agricultural and commercial shops

Position Overview: Skilled Carpenter As a Skilled Carpenter, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of construction tasks, along with being the backbone of the crew onsite to deliver high-quality, efficient work. Key responsibilities include:

-Taking direction and following plans accurately -Producing quality work efficiently and safely -Operating specialized tools and safety equipment -Maintaining and using construction tools responsibly -Working at heights of up to 40 feet -Keeping a clean and safe worksite -Regularly lifting and handling materials up to 80 lbs

Under the guidance of your foreman, you will also:

-Learn and follow company construction and safety standards -Read and interpret construction plans and drawings -Use various tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently -Perform key construction tasks including: -Digging and installing footings -Framing walls and roof structures -Installing doors, windows, and other building components -Installing siding and roofing materials (including hi-rib steel, shingles, wood, and mortarless masonry units) -Finishing structures with metal and wood trims

You'll work closely with other crew members in a safe, organized, and respectful environment that values teamwork and professionalism.

Work Schedule -Monday - Friday, starting at 7:15 AM -Occasional Saturdays as needed -Standard 10-hour shifts with frequent overtime; flexibility is expected

Compensation & Benefits
