Workday HCM Product Manager - Up to $130,000 - Lafayette, LA

Hale International is excited to partner with a large transportation organization who have been live with Workday for 2 years and is seeking a strong Workday HCM Product Manager to join their team and become a crucial part of their Workday roadmap.

In this role, you will be the owner of the Workday HCM suite, taking charge of key projects, module implementation and enhancements, and become the subject matter expert for Workday within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and setup of key Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, and Payroll.
• Lead end-to-end Workday lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Serve as the Workday subject matter expert across all modules.
• Manage and execute key project milestones leading up to the go-live date, and take charge of bi-annual releases.
• Troubleshoot system issues and drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday, specifically in high-level configuration.
• Broad Workday knowledge, across at least 4 of these modules – Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, and Payroll.
• Experience working with global or multi-division organizations is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and proactive working style.
